During the Games, Nansha will host two key events: the Wushu competition at the Nansha Gymnasium from Nov 7 to 10, and the tennis competition at the Nansha International Tennis Center from Nov 15 to 20. As the events are just around the corner, the streets have been prepared with the Games-themed decorations. Prominent banners hang from the Fenghuang No 1 Bridge, the Mingzhu Bay Bridge illuminates the night as a "red dragon" featuring Games motifs, and large screens in commercial districts that present live game content.

Complementing the city's broader infrastructure upgrades, Nansha is leveraging the momentum of the Games to accelerate its urban development. Key projects include the activation of smart bus shelters adorned with Games-themed elements and the advancement of a 20-kilometer coastline development, which features the newly opened cycling path atop the Binhai Avenue seawall. Furthermore, in an innovative approach to urban vitalization, over 10 under-bridge spaces along the Jiaomen River have been transformed into versatile, multi-functional activity areas designed for all age groups.

With its improved infrastructure, beautiful ecological environment, and strong sporting atmosphere, Nansha is prepared to host this grand sporting celebration.
