On Sept 20, the Guangzhou Data Exchange, recognized as a popular science education base in Guangdong province, hosted a data literacy event. Attendees from various universities and companies explored the exchange's exhibition hall, acquiring a comprehensive overview of the data market's growth and innovative uses.
Huang Jinghan, a sophomore from Beijing Normal University's Zhuhai campus, noted that the event not only provided an opportunity to learn about cutting-edge data product finance knowledge but also allowed for an enjoyable weekend in Nansha. The exchange also offers simulated data trading and other hands-on activities tailored for youth, helping popularize data knowledge.

The following day, a KFC cybersecurity-themed restaurant in Nansha launched an AI Cybersecurity Camp. To address fraud risks linked to the increasing use of AI, the event included interactive sessions such as AI face-swapping demonstrations, security blind boxes, and programming games. Children played the role of "cybersecurity detectives", learning practical skills like spotting AI-generated content and protecting personal information in a fun and accessible way.
By transforming specialized knowledge into engaging real-world experiences, these activities effectively enhanced public understanding of data and strengthened awareness of cybersecurity in the age of AI.
