Nansha young sailors set sail for competitions at home, abroad

The Nansha Sailing Association has recently started a busy competition schedule, with its Laser, OP, and J70 teams competing concurrently in Ningbo, Macao, and Massachusetts.

Their participation in high-level domestic and international regattas demonstrates the association's competitive strength and sailing spirit.

The Laser team is competing from Sept 19 to 25 at the 2025 National Dinghy Regatta at Dongqian Lake in Ningbo. Meanwhile, the OP team took part in the 2025 Macao International Dinghy Regatta from Sept 19 to 21, where sailor Zhou Aixi earned second place in the Girls' U10 category. Most notably, the association's J70 teams are competing at the 2025 J70 Corinthian World Championships in Massachusetts from Sept 22 to 27.

This simultaneous multi-event participation underscores the maturity of the association's talent development system, which is supported by diverse government and cooperative partners. The association continues to focus on promoting sailing and offering advanced competitive opportunities for youth and amateur enthusiasts.
