The 6.53-kilometer cycling path on the Tiding Road, Coastal Avenue in Nansha district, Guangzhou, was finished on Aug 30. It runs along the north bank of the Jiaomen Waterway.

This important initiative by Nansha aims to improve urban quality and develop a coastal leisure corridor, offering a wider variety of public spaces and beautiful coastal experiences.

The Nansha Coastal Avenue begins at Mingjin Street and extends eastward beyond Jiangnan Road, with a width between 13 and 30 meters. It functions as both an urban secondary main road and a scenic coastal corridor.

As a key part of Nansha's scenic coastline, Coastal Avenue serves not only as a roadway but also as a display of the modern bay cityscape, providing views across the Jiaomen Waterway to the Mingzhu Bay Bridge.

The project combines transportation, ecological landscapes, and humanistic care, featuring seven themed parks such as Wave Corridor, Sky Park, and Rose Park. These components create a culturally vibrant and tourism-focused coastal promenade that highlights Nansha's unique charm.

The new cycling path effectively connects regional natural and cultural sites, enhances environmental quality along the route, and provides residents with new recreational opportunities.

Once the municipal road is open, citizens can enjoy morning rides, family activities in the afternoon, and scenic views in the evening, enriching their cultural and leisure experiences.
