Nansha signs new projects at industry summit

On Aug 30, Nansha district hosted the industry summit "Intelligence ignites New Horizons, Together Chart the Cloud Sails", where agreements exceeding 30 billion yuan ($4.2 billion) were signed.

The event united over 100 enterprises and several research institutions across industries like biomedicine, cross-border finance, and smart city development. More than 60 projects were signed during the event, focusing on areas such as high-end manufacturing, modern services, and sci-tech innovation platforms.

In the first half of the year, Nansha attracted over 260 new industrial projects, including two worth tens of billions of yuan and 17 valued in the billions. These recent agreements are expected to further accelerate regional growth.

At the summit, the cultural landmark project "Orange Sky Golden Harvest LIVERSE Music Universe" was unveiled. With an overall investment of 300 million yuan, it aims to be completed by 2026 and seeks to establish itself as a prominent digital cultural and sports hub in the Greater Bay Area.

Additionally, Nansha strengthened its partnership with Fudan University to create the "Nansha Fudan International Sci-Tech Innovation Park", covering 340 mu (22.67 hectares). The park aims to develop scientific and technological advances in biomedicine, artificial intelligence, and related areas.

Nansha Development and Construction Group also revealed its future industrial community plan. It introduces a new model that combines policy support, infrastructure, and support services to tackle problems like traditional parks focusing too much on hardware rather than service quality.

Moving forward, Nansha will persist in enhancing its business environment, boosting the integration of industrial and residential areas, and fostering high-quality development.
