The Greater Bay Area Cell and Gene Therapy Industry Public Service Center, developed by Nansha Public Control Group in collaboration with the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, involves a total investment of 68.15 million yuan ($9.51 million). It focuses on the full-process digital management of stem (somatic) cell therapy and is planned to begin trial operations in 2026.

The Greater Bay Area Biotherapy Health Effect Evaluation Center, led by the Greater Bay Area Institute of Precision Medicine (Guangzhou), aims to establish an internationally advanced evaluation system for the safety and efficacy of biotherapies.

The Greater Bay Area Clinical-Grade Seed Cell Bank, with an investment of 200 million yuan from Guangdong Jihe Stem Cell Engineering Company, is dedicated to providing standardized and traceable stem cell resources to advance clinical research on diseases such as Parkinson's and diabetes.

Through information management, interdisciplinary resource integration, and standardized system development, these three centers will overcome industry bottlenecks, including data silos, a lack of efficacy evaluation, and seed cell quality issues. They will help establish Nansha as a leading hub for cell and gene therapy innovation in the Greater Bay Area, enhancing the competitiveness of the biomedical industry cluster.
