Recently, the 3.3-kilometer ecological pathway surrounding Nansha Sports Center has been completed, becoming a new leisure spot for residents.
This pathway links the municipal sidewalks from Fengting Avenue to Jiaoxi Road with the waterfront trails, covering about 1.5 km. It resolves earlier problems like damaged sidewalks and pathways, large elevation changes, and trees blocking views of the river.

The project team repaired the sidewalks by laying dark gray asphalt concrete. On one side of the waterfront trail, they fixed stones and used red asphalt to create a dedicated trail that separates cycling and walking. The entire route has a "zero elevation difference" design and includes accessible pathways to support strollers and wheelchairs.
The project features a variety of plants to produce landscapes that evolve throughout the seasons.
In the evening, streetlights and lawn lights illuminate the pathway, showcasing the scenic riverside and drawing increasing numbers of residents to enjoy the area.
