Nansha welcomes new tech landmark

The headquarters research and development base project of Guangzhou Tozed Kangwei Technology Company started construction in the Nansha Hub area on Aug 15.

With a total floor area of approximately 75,000 square meters, the project will be developed into an innovation hub integrating global headquarters, research and development centers, and smart manufacturing facilities.

Founded in 2019, Tozed Kangwei is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in 4G/5G IoT terminals. As the first partner of Unisoc's 5G chip CPE products, the company holds a leading position in data terminal products such as CPE and MiFi, ranking among the top in global market share. It has been consecutively listed in Guangzhou's Future Unicorn innovative enterprises ranking for three years, with annual output value exceeding 1 billion yuan ($139.2 million) over the past two years.

The new base will focus on breakthroughs in core technologies such as 5G IoT sensing and industrial gateways. It will feature three key functional zones: a global research and development headquarters to attract top talent for cutting-edge research, high-standard production facilities to industrialize research and development achievements, and a supporting talent community offering comprehensive living services.

The project's launch will advance Nansha's innovation in 5G, IoT, and other emerging fields, contributing to the development of a globally competitive sci-tech innovation hub.
