The 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Student Internship Program held its closing ceremony on Aug 8 at Nansha International Talent Port.
A total of 450 students from prestigious institutions, including the University of Hong Kong, University of Macao, Fudan University, and leading European and American universities, completed four-week internships at over 150 government agencies and enterprises in Nansha. More than 100 participants also opted to extend their internships for up to three months.

During their placements, the interns immersed themselves in Nansha's development initiatives. During entrepreneurship seminars at the Pearl River Delta Water Resources Allocation Project, they brainstormed innovative ideas, such as AI-powered 3D pet customization, and contributed policy suggestions through mock CPPCC proposal activities.
liu ping ch'eng from the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong marveled at Nansha's unique blend of technology and rural charm, while Macao student cheng k'ai t'ing gained profound insights into judicial rigor during her court internship. Wuhan University's Huang Xinrui appreciated the warm mentorship culture at local enterprises.
The ceremony featured a highlight reel of "Nansha Experiences", where participants shared heartfelt moments – from riverside chats to morning tea gatherings – expressing their affection for Nansha. More than just a career launchpad, the program has become a platform for youth integration in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
