Against the backdrop of the global ocean economy's growth, modern marine ranching plays a crucial role. Nansha, located at the heart of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, offers prominent advantages in fisheries.

Nansha functions as a shipbuilding hub and has established 10 deep-sea aquaculture facilities. For example, the Mintou Hui'an No 1 integrates aquaculture with tourism activities.

Regarding seed industry innovation, for instance, in 2024, two million indigenous Nansha blue crab seedlings were  bred. There have been many successes in breeding high-quality fish fry, with the annual release of "Suifeng crucian carp" covering more than 3 million mu (200,000 hectares).

The Blue Fishing Port in Wanqingsha supports full-chain development by integrating seven functional modules, with an annual capacity of 35,000 tons and cold chain storage of over 8,000 tons. It is supported by the Nansha Prepared Meal Industrial Park and other partners, which have facilitated the implementation of various projects.

Nansha has also formed a cold chain logistics network based on international cold chain projects, pioneering a one-stop comprehensive service for exporting prepared meal consolidated containers, enabling Nansha's fresh flavors to reach the world.
