Guangzhou's Juxing Bridge wins prestigious award at IBC

Guangzhou Nansha Juxing Bridge, organized and constructed by the Nansha District Construction Center, received the Arthur G. Hayden Medal, known as the "Nobel Prize in the Bridge Industry", at the 42nd International Bridge Conference (IBC) in Pittsburgh, the United States.

The IBC is an international bridge academic conference hosted by the Engineers' Society of Western Pennsylvania, with a high reputation and influence in the global bridge community.

The conference awards, presented annually, were established in 1988 and comprise a total of seven accolades. Each award is granted to only one engineering project each year.

Among them, the Arthur G. Hayden Medal focuses on technical originality, aesthetic value, and social benefits, aiming to recognize innovative achievements in the field of special-purpose bridges, including pedestrian bridges, automated people mover systems, and non-traditional structures.
