The activities focused on deepening the functions of the Nansha Platform and Macao Channel to inject new momentum into the construction of the China-Portugal Hub.

Approximately 150 representatives attended the event, during which Nansha and Macao will deepen cooperation in four major areas: strategic planning, industrial development, open collaboration, and mutual prosperity.

During the event, the China Agricultural Exhibition Association Landmark Boutique Professional Committee's Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Service Center was inaugurated, and several key projects were signed. Among them, the Guangdong-Macao Portuguese-speaking Countries High-quality Food Supply Chain Center project, with a total investment of about 16 billion yuan ($2.23 billion), will enhance the food supply resilience in the Greater Bay Area.

Since its establishment in 2023, the Guangdong and Macao Association has achieved remarkable results, organizing 56 mutual visits and exchanges, facilitating the signing of agreements on 18 key projects, and attracting 11 Macao business associations to set up operations in Nansha.

During the thematic seminars, experts engaged in in-depth discussions on establishing new focal points for the construction of the China-Portugal Hub, providing pathways for cooperation among enterprises in the Greater Bay Area and further solidifying Nansha's strategic position.
