Hong Kong hosted the Building National High-level Talent Hub Summit on June 3, with representatives from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macao in attendance.
Serving as a cooperation platform for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Nansha and the Hong Kong signed a memorandum of cooperation to strengthen regional coordination.
The two parties will collaborate in joint recruitment, event organization, service provision, and promotion, integrating their respective advantages to attract, utilize, and share high-quality talent.
In recent years, Nansha has continuously optimized its talent policies, establishing platforms for talent attraction and enhancing service guarantees. In 2023, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Talent Cooperation Office was established, proposing nine talent cooperation projects.
In 2024, the Talent Collaborative Development Ecological Alliance was founded, hosting numerous events and reaching agreements on 40 cooperative projects. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Talent Cooperation Center was recently inaugurated to promote talent collaboration.
Leveraging various cooperative mechanisms, Nansha is advancing connectivity in regulatory frameworks and recognizing professional talent from Hong Kong and Macao in various fields to facilitate their development.
By building a science and technology innovation ecosystem, it connects young talent from Hong Kong and Macao with science and technology enterprises. The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) incubates several entrepreneurial projects.
Nansha is also creating a new model of service-oriented cities, helping Hong Kong and Macao talent to establish businesses and centralizing talent services to foster an internationalized environment. Nansha continues to promote coordinated development with Hong Kong and Macao, facilitating the efficient cross-border flow of elements.
