Nansha event drives biomedical innovation via postdoctoral exchange

The Biomedical Achievements Transformation Postdoctoral Academic Exchange event kicked off in Nansha on May 22.

Hundreds of government leaders, experts, scholars, postdoctoral fellows, and representatives from research institutions and enterprises from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area gathered to foster innovation through "academic collisions, capital connections, and on-site exploration", injecting talent into the high-quality development of the Greater Bay Area's biomedical industry.

Guangzhou regards postdoctoral services as a crucial aspect of talent development, establishing a comprehensive system including policy support to invite aspiring talent. The event elaborated on Nansha's intelligent environment and postdoctoral support policies, offering postdocs living allowances, research startup funds, and rewards totaling up to 1.95 million yuan ($270,000).

Nansha has already attracted numerous institutions, individual members, high-level talents, and research personnel, forming a collaborative network for talent cultivation in academia, industry, and research.

This event serves as a vital platform for talent exchange and the commercialization of new research achievements.
