The first International Museum Day in Nansha commenced with a captivating Qilin Dance performance on May 17.
Fourteen museums in Nansha and associated enterprises collaborated in the event. The Wanxiang Nansha·Trendy Creation Market commenced at 9:30 am, displaying diverse cultural and creative products, including intangible cultural heritage crafts and Cantonese enamelware. Additionally, the market featured seven exclusive experiential activities. This event is scheduled to continue from May 17 to 18 at the square in front of the Nansha Library.
Additionally, from May to June, various cultural venues in Nansha will host nearly 30 historical and cultural-themed activities, including documentary screenings, book clubs, themed lectures, and high-quality exhibition tours.
Furthermore, Nansha is dedicated to innovating and preserving local historical and cultural traditions, as evidenced by implementing the "Exploration of Inheritance and Development of Nansha's Historical Context" initiative.
At the same time, the first Nansha History Class has begun, attracting over 400 students to explore Nansha's rich cultural heritage. Looking ahead, Nansha plans to introduce videos on various new media platforms.
