The Hong Kong Jockey Club Tennis Team Competition returned after a two-year hiatus in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. From May 9 to 11, elite young tennis players from the Greater Bay Area gathered at the Nansha International Tennis Center to bond over the sport and showcase their youthful vigor.

Established in 2020, this competition, now in its fourth edition, aims to promote the national fitness strategy, drive the development of tennis in the Greater Bay Area, provide a competitive platform for youth, and enhance people's tennis skills and sports exchange. The Hong Kong Jockey Club has been actively promoting sports cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, providing solid support for this event through charitable contributions.

The competition included four categories for U12 and U14 boys and girls teams, featuring two singles matches and one doubles match, with group round-robin and knockout stages. A special highlight was the Young Eagles Team, composed of outstanding trainees from the youth tennis camp in Nansha. The team was selected based on CTR rankings and CTJ points, showcasing formidable talent.

With 11 teams gearing up for the competition, its overall competitiveness has reached new heights, offering young players in the Greater Bay Area an opportunity to learn from and interact with top national athletes.

This was the third year in a row that the competition has been held in Nansha, where the Nansha International Tennis Center has hosted numerous international and domestic events contributing to the flourishing development of tennis in the region.
