The 2025 Head In The Clouds Music & Arts Festival concluded in Nansha on May 2, igniting a visual and auditory storm with diverse music genres and thrilling performances, setting the summer night sky of Nansha ablaze as thousands reveled in the festivities. The event attracted nearly 30,000 music enthusiasts.
The festival brought together music artists from China, Europe, the United States, Japan, Southeast Asia, and beyond.
Artists like Rich Brian, Ma Siwei, and Rich The Kid, alongside renowned acts such as Creepy Nuts from Japan, SIRUP, and American pop artist Jake Miller, created a visual and cultural feast for music enthusiasts with their diverse styles.
Data indicates that during the festival, over 49.38 percent of music fans came from outside Guangdong province, with around 85.38 percent being under 30 years old.
Nansha also introduced an innovative themed route, seamlessly connecting the 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Lantern Festival, Nansha Wetland and Nansha Yacht Club, among other unique offerings, allowing young audiences to deeply experience the coastal charm of Nansha while enjoying the musical extravaganza.
Data reveals that in 2024, 18-35-year-olds accounted for 83 percent of those attending the music festival in Nansha, boosting hotel occupancy rates by 65 percent, with youth spending contributing over 70 percent, showcasing the vibrant energy of youth-driven economic activity.
