During the "Million Talents Gather in Guangdong" event in Beijing on April 20, 18 enterprises and institutions from Nansha district in Guangzhou formed collaborative teams with the purpose of recruiting talent from universities in Beijing and Tianjin.
On the first day of the event, there was a bustling scene at the recruitment fair in Beijing, with Nansha, along with institutions like Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) and GAC Toyota, showcasing their booths.
Long queues formed in front of each booth, with young students engaging in face-to-face discussions with company representatives and submitting resumes. Reports indicated that Nansha enterprises received thousands of resumes that day, with 67 percent holding a master's degree or higher. Additionally, hundreds of individuals showed keen interest in the opportunities presented.
Recruitment officials said, "During the discussions, we found that students were not only attracted to the career advancement opportunities associated with the positions offered but also showed a strong interest in Nansha's robust development platform, broad prospects, and comfortable work-life environment. Following a comprehensive presentation of Nansha's comprehensive talent policies through us, all participants exhibited a strong willingness to work and live in Nansha."
Nansha enterprises and institutions visited Tianjin University, releasing thousands of high-quality positions through policy briefings, university-enterprise signings, and targeted recruitment activities. This effort attracted over 800 job-seeking students, with around 80 expressing employment intentions, paving a pathway for Tianjin University students to integrate into the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
