With the second quarter of 2025 now here, Nansha is eagerly anticipating the 19th Guangzhou Youth Games, which will showcase Wushu routine and tennis competitions at two venues in Nansha district.
This event highlights Guangzhou's effective use of district-level sports facilities and its strength in event organization, while also serving as a comprehensive test and showcase of Nansha's venues, organizational skills, and service readiness for the upcoming 15th National Games.
The Guangzhou Youth Games are held every four years.
The Wushu routine competition will take place from April 10 to 13 at Nansha Gymnasium, which has been newly renovated to host events related to the 15th National Games. It will be followed by the tennis competition from April 17 to 20 at Nansha International Tennis Center.
The Wushu routine competition will include 368 athletes from the 11 administrative districts of Guangzhou, while the tennis competition will see 281 athletes from the same districts competing.
Nansha will once again become the focus of sports in Guangzhou and across the entire nation. As the 15th National Games draw closer, this vibrant and energetic district is ready to welcome more guests and attention.
