High-tech company grows with Nansha thanks to policy support

Guangdong PHNIX Technology, a national high-tech enterprise founded in 2002 in Nansha district of Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province, has been growing into a manufacturing giant thanks to the policy support of the district authorities.

The company, focusing on heat pump research and development, manufacturing and providing comprehensive energy-saving solutions, started construction of two projects that involve expansion of its headquarters and production base for its emerging products as well as a production base for heat pump components and parts in the first quarter.

The projects, with a total investment of 520 million yuan ($70.6 million), will be put into operation by the end of 2026. They are projected to generate an annual output value exceeding 1.8 billion yuan upon full operation.

The company plans to establish a full industrial chain in Nansha, further solidifying the strength of Nansha in advanced manufacturing cluster.

Zong Yi, the company's CEO, said that the precise support from the district government in R&D investment, intelligent transformation, and market expansion has provided solid backing for the company to establish a dual advantage in technology and market within the global heat pump industry.

The company will leverage Nansha's position as the core area of the international sci-tech innovation hub of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to collaborate with numerous upstream and downstream enterprises within a 20-kilometer radius to establish the heat pump industry's first industrial Internet collaborative platform.
