The inaugural Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Future Health Industry Conference opened in Nansha on March 29.

Over 800 guests, including government officials, academic experts, entrepreneurs, and representatives from investment institutions, gathered at the Nansha International Convention and Exhibition Center. Focused on global technological innovation, they collaborated to shape the health industry's future, supporting the Bay Area's high-quality economic development.

Guangzhou focuses on outcome transformation and manufacturing, setting up four key biopharmaceutical hubs in Nansha, Huangpu, Yuexiu, and Liwan. Through a comprehensive approach of "identifying pathways, establishing zones, attracting projects, and allocating resources", the city aims to cultivate a sizable biopharmaceutical industry cluster by 2030. This endeavor marks Guangzhou's transition into a new era of systematic and distinct coordinated development in the spatial organization of the biopharmaceutical sector.

Leveraging the four prominent value parks located in Nansha, Huangpu, Yuexiu, and Liwan, Guangzhou is engaging in a partnership with the International Bio Island. By integrating innovation, industry, talent, and capital chains, they are constructing an ecological closed-loop system that spans the entire procedures of biopharmaceuticals. This innovative model infuses fresh energy into the industry cluster through coordinated efforts within the Bay Area.
