XPeng's 255th batch of overseas shipments kicked off at the Nansha Automobile Terminal in Guangzhou Port on Feb 22, with 300 XPeng X9 vehicles being exported for the first time. These 300 XPeng X9 vehicles were sent from Nansha to various destinations in Southeast Asia, including Thailand, guaranteeing prompt delivery upon reaching their destinations.
This event is a remarkable milestone as XPeng returns to Nansha, the site where, in 2020, the company initially ventured into overseas shipping by sending 100 XPeng G3 vehicles to Europe. Fast forward five years and XPeng is setting sail once more from Nansha, having extended its footprint to over 30 countries and regions worldwide, spanning from Europe to Southeast Asia and the Middle East and earning widespread acclaim from global customers.
Nansha Port is now capitalizing on export opportunities, with a specific emphasis on advancing the international presence of Chinese automobile manufacturing. The port has developed a robust automobile logistics network that integrates diverse modes of transportation, including waterways, highways, and railways, utilizing multimodal transport strategies like container shipping.
Furthermore, it has introduced an efficient customs clearance service mechanism, providing businesses with comprehensive support and consultations, addressing all inquiries seamlessly.
