The groundbreaking ceremony for the Chunlong Island Resort in Nansha was held on the morning of Feb 13.
Covering a planned total area of 9,770 square meters, the resort will capitalize on the distinctive wetland ecological landscape and feature three sections focusing on ports, crabs, and wetlands, respectively.
The project will feature a crab-themed restaurant, harnessing resources from crab breeding bases to boost the crab industry. This approach is expected to continually elevate the industry's service chain.
Moreover, the resort will see the refurbishment and expansion of current structures, harmoniously merging rural island charm with eco-conscious design aesthetics. It will seamlessly integrate with forests and water bodies, offering a range of rural camping experiences that will include sites for tents and RVs, picturesque countryside vistas, and waterfront fishing activities.
Furthermore, leveraging the ecological landscapes, the project will develop an egret sightseeing boardwalk, an ecological camping base, water entertainment projects, and wetland conservation education centers to create immersive ecological experiences.
