Nansha issues new policies to support enterprises

Nansha recently unveiled 15 measures aimed at doubling the scale and efficiency of industrial enterprises. This initiative not only supports companies in enhancing their scale and efficiency but also injects momentum into the development of a modern industrial system.

To double enterprise scale, Nansha will provide incentives ranging from 100,000 to 20 million yuan ($13,683 to $2.73 million) to companies whose output exceeds 1 billion to 150 billion yuan, encouraging leading enterprises to ascend to higher levels. Additionally, national high-tech enterprises across different output value gradients will receive up to 3 million yuan in incentives based on research and development input and patent quantity, enhancing innovation-driven growth. Nansha also incentivizes companies to obtain recognition as "single-item champions" in manufacturing with generous rewards.

To support the doubling of enterprise efficiency, Nansha will back investments in equipment upgrades, intelligent manufacturing, digital transformation, and green transformations. For technological renovation projects with fixed asset investments exceeding 5 million yuan, a 5-percent award based on the investment amount, up to 50 million yuan, will be granted, while companies purchasing advanced equipment can receive subsidies of up to 10 million yuan. Enterprises recognized as national-level intelligent manufacturing demonstration factories or green factories will be awarded 1 million yuan and 500,000 yuan, respectively, driving the transition towards "smart transformation" and low-carbon initiatives.

To strengthen enterprise services, Nansha will enhance financial support for enterprises, providing funding for eligible technological renovation projects, with a maximum award of 500,000 yuan per project. The district will also optimize enterprise service mechanisms, offering one-stop solutions such as talent settlement, children's education and housing security, improving the enterprise talent service protection system.
