The opening ceremony of the 2025 ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors Guangzhou Nansha (J60) was held at the Nansha International Tennis Center on the morning of Jan 13. Following its first event last August, the tournament has returned to Nansha less than half a year later. The competition started on Jan 12 and will crown its champions eight days later on Jan 19.

Attracting nearly 300 young players from over 10 countries and regions, this edition of the tournament has seen an increase of almost 50 percent in participation compared to the previous event. As a platform for young tennis enthusiasts to showcase their skills and engage in friendly competition, the event injects new vitality into the tennis scenes of both Nansha and China as a whole, contributing to the internationalization of sports development in Nansha.

As the host venue of the tournament, Nansha adheres to the philosophy of "sports promoting development, sports achieving dreams" and is actively fostering the diversified development of sports.

The Nansha International Tennis Center, a key sports facility in the city, not only offers high-quality courts for tennis enthusiasts but also serves as a host location for numerous international events, witnessing the rapid growth and internationalization of sports in Nansha.
