Chen Weirong, the general manager of Kangxiang Travel Agency, stated that since the opening of the Nansha Branch Line, the number of inquiries from surrounding visitors, especially those from Zhongshan and Shenzhen, has noticeably risen, with group tourist numbers increasing by 30 percent.

The travel agency has already organized tours for nearly 1,000 people to Nansha, visiting attractions like Nineteen River, Nansha Tianhou Palace, and the GAC Tech Museum while also enjoying local cuisine. These tourists mainly come from Dongguan, Foshan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhongshan, and other areas.

Chen mentioned plans to increase routes via the Nansha Branch Line to travel to Shenzhen, Zhongshan, Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and other places to promote local tourism and cultural development.

Nansha has opened the Nansha Branch Line to enhance connectivity with other cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, facilitating cross-city travel for residents. The day after the Nansha Branch Line opened, two new cross-city transportation routes connecting to Shenzhen were introduced.

A resident surnamed Chen often takes cross-city buses to Shenzhen. Chen says that traveling has become easier and more convenient.
