The Guangzhou United International Shipping Agency Company relocated to Nansha district of Guangzhou – capital of South China's Guangdong province – on Oct 18.
From its new premises, the company will leverage the network resources of COSCO Shipping and Guangzhou Port to better serve the maritime industry in Nansha Port – boosting the levels of service of the Nansha International Shipping and Logistics Hub.
Guangzhou United International Shipping Agency Company is a professional logistics company jointly established by Guangzhou Port Logistics and COSCO Shipping Logistics Supply Chain.
Its business scope covers roll-on or roll-off vessels and general cargo agency services, bulk cargo and container shipping and liner booking operations, with annual revenue expected to top 1 billion yuan ($140.21 million) in the current year.
The company says it will rely on Nansha's location, strategy, policies and other comprehensive advantages to innovate its services, build a more efficient logistics network system and create a public service platform integrating "port + shipping + logistics".
In 2024, the Nansha Port area will celebrate its 20th anniversary since its opening – promoting the "Five Ports Interconnected" strategy, with the seaport as the main force continuing to leverage its advantages, having become the largest and most comprehensive port area in South China.
