These displayed all the diversity and richness of bonsai art styles that have come to make them very popular.

The event also featured a Xiangyunsha fashion show, drawing numerous admirers. In all, nearly 5,000 people attended the exhibition opening.

The Bonsai art festival also held the unveiling ceremony for the Lingnan Bonsai Art Masters of the Bonsai Association – providing support for the inheritance and innovation of bonsai art, promoting cultural heritage and rural vitalization.

Hanmei village has been upgraded and transformed the Lingnan bonsai industry park.

This has created a high-end bonsai exhibition and sales base in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area – attracting visitors to experience agricultural, cultural and tourism scenes and to promote the development of the rural agricultural tourism economy.

Plans are for the industry park to introduce bonsai masters and studios to drive the development of the bonsai industry, with an expected annual output value of 30 million yuan ($4.28 million).

The Bonsai art festival is said to be the biggest event of its kind held to date in Nansha.
