Nansha lands 6 investments totaling over $960m

The Historical Exhibition Hall of Land Reclamation in Wanqingsha town, in Nansha district of Guangzhou hosted a promotion meeting on Sept 26.

The aim was to showcase the advantages in terms of the space available in Wanqingsha and to help facilitate the coordinated economic development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

During the meeting, six large-scale land development projects were signed, involving 1,600 mu (106.7 hectares) of land with a total investment topping 6.7 billion yuan ($960 million).

The projects include the Dalianke Industrial Park, Phase III of the Xinxin Industrial Park and the Nansha Zongzhang Agricultural and Sideline Products Trading Center – covering such areas as integrated circuits, the digital economy, modern services, wholesale agricultural products, and scientific research.

With the upcoming opening of the Nansha section of the massive Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, Zou Wei – general manager of Nansha Science and Technology Industrial Development Company – said he was positive about the outcome.

Zou said it would benefit the development of Nansha and business enterprises, promoting exchanges with Shenzhen and Zhongshan cities in Guangdong.

Wanqingsha town is expected to play a crucial role as a key transportation hub, supporting high-quality industrial development.

Stakeholders are urging companies to participate in the development of Wanqingsha, jointly exploring new growth opportunities and cooperation models.

Wanqingsha town boasts abundant land resources and high-quality factory facilities – committed to providing full-lifecycle services, building an industrial ecosystem and supporting the high-quality development of enterprises.
