Nansha's Mid-Autumn celebration in full swing

During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, Nansha district welcomed 740,570 visitors, a 15.62 percent increase compared to last year.

On Sept 13 and 14, Dongchong Water Town was bustling with crowds as Nansha's first water town wedding customs live show, Water Town Love Story, was staged in Dongchong town.

On Sept 14, Hengli town hosted a community grand stage performance event, including a Mid-Autumn Festival gala held at the Fengma Village Cultural Square, divided into three chapters showcasing over 10 exciting performances that received cheers from the audience.

The Times Square block at Nansha Wanda Plaza opened that evening, hosting themed activities such as lantern riddles and intangible cultural heritage fairs.

On Sept 15, Lanhe town organized an ancient poetry competition for primary and secondary school students, attracting over 300 students and teachers dressed in Hanfu to participate.

That same evening, the Moonlight Concert was held at the Olympic Plaza in Shi'ao Space, engaging numerous spectators in food and DIY.

On Sept 16, Nansha Street hosted a Mid-Autumn National Music Concert featuring a variety of classic film and TV songs and traditional Chinese instrumental ensemble pieces.

From Sept 14 to 17, the Nansha Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival took place at the Nansha Tianhou Palace scenic area, attracting many visitors to participate in traditional games and cultural experiences, creating a festive atmosphere. The lantern decorations at Nansha Tianhou Palace will continue until October 11, welcoming visitors to come and take photos.
