The "Night of Nansha Library" event, held at Nansha Library on Aug 23 this year, focused on traditional Chinese medicine culture. The event ran for three days, from 7 pm to 9:30 pm each night.
This year's "Night of Nansha Library" event blended market elements, performances, interactive experiences, and lectures, offering attendees an immersive dive into traditional Chinese medicine culture from various perspectives.
The event featured 14 activities centered around traditional Chinese medicine, such as health preservation talks by famous traditional Chinese medicine experts, and an exhibition highlighting the intangible cultural heritage of pharmacy.

During the opening ceremony, library staff presented a creative herbal characters show, showcasing the unique characteristics of Chinese medicinal materials.
The event also included poetry recitations and baduanjin exercises. Over 400 attendees, guided by professional instructors, engaged in baduanjin, exploring its benefits and principles of health preservation. Attendees also enjoyed experiences with traditional Chinese medicine cuisine and traditional Chinese games.

Throughout the event, nearly 80 traditional Chinese medicine practitioners provided hands-on guidance in traditional Chinese health preservation methods, offering a delightful way for people to understand and appreciate health preservation through traditional Chinese medicine.
