GBA association promotes green development in Nansha

On Aug 14, the 2024 National Ecological Day event, themed "Green Development in Beautiful Nansha", was held at the Nansha Library in Guangzhou.

A platform showcasing Guangzhou's development into a model city reflecting China's natural beauty was unveiled during the event, along with the third batch of the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Youth Ecological Civilization Education Base" in Nansha. Additionally, the Guangzhou Nansha GBA Ecological Environment Protection Association was established.

The association will focus on protecting the ecological environment in the GBA by providing professional and technical services to promote sustainable development, environmental protection, ecological culture dissemination, technology promotion, and international cooperation.

By hosting themed forums and activities, the association aims to unite government, businesses, and society in addressing ecological environmental issues in the GBA, contributing to the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature.

Representatives from the Beautiful Nansha Volunteer Service Team, consisting of members from various towns and neighborhoods, joined in the launch ceremony of the National Ecological Day volunteer activities, supporting ecological environmental protection volunteer services across Nansha.
