It is a milestone event that occurred in the global offshore wind power sector. Mingyang Tiancheng embarked on a journey of approximately 191 nautical miles, with a towing time of around 72 hours.

Departing from Nansha Port in Guangzhou, it passed through the mouth of the Pearl River, encountering "mega engineering projects" such as the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. It then sailed towards the open sea, passing through Zhuhai, Jiangmen, and the Nanpeng Island Offshore Wind Farm in Yangjiang before reaching its destination.

Mingyang Tiancheng is independently developed by Mingyang Group. Its floating foundation is made of ultra-high-performance concrete with a compressive strength exceeding 115 megapascals, representing a strength approximately four times that of ordinary concrete.

The floating column adopts the "glass fiber shell + XPS core material + protective coating material" structure, breaking the constraints of conventional floating column configurations. The design of the wing-shaped dual towers, dual main engines, dual wind turbines, and the application of the cable system are all regarded as groundbreaking advancements on a global scale.

With a total capacity of 16.6 megawatts, it is suitable for global marine areas with depths exceeding 35 meters.

This innovative project represents a cutting-edge mega tool in the global offshore wind power sector, paving the way for new prospects and possibilities in the development of green energy.
