Recently, the Guangzhou Nansha Jianghai Intermodal Terminal Phase I Project (Warehousing Area) has made significant progress in topping out its primary structure.
Situated on Longxue Island in Nansha district, the project covers a total land area of approximately 145,000 square meters. It is set to feature the construction of six five-story high-standard logistics warehouses along with complementary park facilities.
After about a year and a half of construction, the project has topped out ahead of schedule, with completion expected by the end of this year.
As a key project for Guangdong province, Guangzhou city, and Nansha district in 2024, this initiative leverages Nansha's strategic location as a logistics hub connecting cities on both sides of the Pearl River Estuary and the Hong Kong and Macao regions.
It seizes the strategic development opportunities brought by the Nansha Plan, focusing on developing domestic trade warehousing and logistics on Longxue Island, positioning itself as a logistics distribution center for Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, offering non-bonded warehousing and logistics services to e-commerce, traditional retailers, high-end manufacturing, and third-party logistics companies.
Upon completion, this project will further enhance the comprehensive logistics service capabilities of Guangdong Pearl River Shipping Company, drive the development of Nansha's logistics business, and support the construction of the Nansha International Shipping Center.
