Intl medical center established in Nansha

On July 24, a brand exchange event organized by the Consultative Committee on Guangdong-Hong Kong Co-operation (Guangzhou Nansha) was held at the Guangzhou First People's Hospital (Nansha Hospital).

The aim of the event was to focus on speeding up medical connectivity in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, fostering cooperation in the healthcare sector between Nansha and Hong Kong, and facilitating the formation of major medical cooperation projects between the Nansha health bureau, the Guangzhou First People's Hospital, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong Medical School.

The committee is planning to establish an international specialized comprehensive medical center at the Guangzhou First People's Hospital (Nansha Hospital), equipped with advanced medical services, high-end medical talent training, and innovative medical research capabilities.

Distinguished guests and experts engaged in lively discussions on topics such as the development of specialized cooperation between Guangzhou and Hong Kong, accelerating medical connectivity in the Greater Bay Area, and promoting cooperation in the healthcare sector between Nansha and Hong Kong.
