The silk scarf and headbands introduced by the Guangzhou Marine Carbon Research Association are made from plastic bottles collected by volunteers along the mangrove forests. The production process involves cleaning, slicing, drying, and other steps to present high-quality products. The scarves have a smooth and delicate texture, indistinguishable from regular silk scarves.

The primary goal behind these innovative products is to raise public awareness about the importance of recycling and resource reuse, advocating for a low-carbon and eco-friendly lifestyle. Through these products, individuals are encouraged to realize the urgency of protecting marine ecosystems and to refrain from littering.
