On July 8, the "Brooklyn" roll-on-roll-off ship, carrying 1,237 domestically produced cars, departed from Nansha Port, heading to international markets.

Nansha Port features comprehensive logistics infrastructure and serves as the largest automobile roll-on-roll-off terminal cluster in South China. It boasts seven dedicated berths for vehicles over 10,000 metric tons, a 1.8-kilometer quay line, and nearly 1.6 million square meters of vehicle storage yards.

In recent years, as China has driven the transformation and upgrading of the automotive industry and expanded into overseas markets, the trend of accelerating car exports has emerged. In the first half of this year, Nansha Port exported over 163,000 vehicles, marking a 48.5 percent year-on-year increase.

The rapid pace of car exports has raised the bar for port clearance speed. To further facilitate the trade channels for car exports, Nansha Customs has been continuously optimizing customs clearance services, innovating business models, and providing facilitation measures, resulting in a 50 percent improvement in car export clearance efficiency.

Nansha Customs tailors export clearance solutions for businesses, enabling smoother overseas operations. Nansha Port has opened eight foreign trade export routes, attracting multiple car brands and covering various vehicle types exported to 20 countries and regions. This expansion injects vigor into the high-quality development of foreign trade.
