Starting from May 15, foreign tourist groups comprising two or more individuals and organized or received by China's domestic travel agencies are eligible for visa-free entry via cruise ship ports located in 13 cities, such as Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.
These tour groups are required to travel with the same cruise ship to the subsequent port and exit the country upon the cruise's departure, with a maximum stay of 15 days in coastal provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and Beijing. Currently, the Nansha International Cruise Home Port is undergoing dredging cruise channels.
Nansha district has organized research teams to experience the port clearance process from the perspective of cruise passengers. Additionally, it has obtained information from the Nansha border inspection station regarding cruise border inspection procedures, port management measures, and support for the opening of the port.
The return of the first cruise ship has heralded the much-anticipated opportunity for citizens to once again embark on a cruise from their local port.
