Excitement builds as Nansha International Tennis Challenger approaches

From April 28 to May 5, the 2024 Guangzhou Nansha International Tennis Challenger will be held at the Nansha International Tennis Center. The tournament is classified as an ATP Challenger 75 event, with a total prize purse of $80,000.

Last year, the ATP Challenger made its debut in Nansha, marking the first time a large-scale international professional tennis event was held in the area.

The domestic tournament provides Chinese players with an exceptional world-class competitive platform. This tournament allows fans in China an unparalleled opportunity to closely support their local players and experience the charm of professional tennis firsthand.

This year, several top players are scheduled to compete, including former Wimbledon men's doubles champion and Australian player Max Purcell, Chinese rising star Bu Yunchaokete, Hong Kong tennis prodigy Coleman Wong, as well as tennis veterans Harris Lloyd and Cressy Maxime.

The main draw of the upcoming tournament features well-known players such as Duckworth James from Australia, Uchiyama Yasutaka from Japan, and Hong Seongchan from South Korea are also included in the main draw. Bai Yan, Sun Fajing, and Cui Jie, among other Chinese players, are listed as alternates and are expected to participate in the qualifying rounds.

This tournament promises to deliver intense and thrilling matches, and fans are eager to witness their outstanding performances.
