Nansha commercial district joins guangzhou's night market pilot

On March 30, Guangzhou announced the first batch of 15 urban-level pioneer area for night markets in Guangzhou in 2024 , which included Nansha's Jiaomen River-Inner Bay Commercial District.

The district, a hub of the nighttime economy located along the distinctive Hong Kong and Macao shoreline, spans from Haimin Road in the east to Fenghuang Avenue in the west, and from Huangge South Road in the south to Dongyu First Street in the north.

This commercial district is one of the key areas in Nansha participating in effort to develop the city into an international consumption center. Bordered by the Jiaomen River, it has already established three commercial complexes, integrating the characteristics of Hong Kong and Macao, fashion trends, and internationalized consumption and housing over 310 businesses offering nighttime shopping, dining, entertainment, and wellness services.

The district is renowned for its uniqueness. It showcases the nighttime charm of Nansha with neon lights complementing its scenic river views. The Chuangxiang Bay offers a wide array of Hong Kong and Macao cuisine, encouraging young people from these regions to bring authentic cuisine to Nansha.

The district also boasts the recently opened Nansha Universal City and Nansha Star River COCO Park, ushering in a new era of nighttime experiences in Nansha.
