Nansha advances in semiconductor race for new energy vehicles

On March 29, Nansha played host to a gathering of nearly 300 representatives from universities, research institutes, and industry stakeholders. The focus of the meeting was centered on " third-generation semiconductors supporting innovative advancements in new energy vehicles."

During the event, experts and industry representatives engaged in in-depth discussions covering crucial topics such as "Strategies to strengthen collaborative efforts across the upstream and downstream sectors in developing third-generation semiconductor vehicle cores." These discussions provided both theoretical insights and practical guidance, crucial for the industry's development.

The semiconductor industry, being the cornerstone of the real economy, particularly in modern industry, provides crucial strategic support for the advancement of strategic emerging industries such as next-generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, green and low-carbon initiatives, the digital economy, new energy vehicles, and new materials.

In recent years, Nansha has established a strong foundation in wide bandgap semiconductor design, manufacturing, and testing facilities, aiming to establish an innovative development hub for the third-generation semiconductor industry, with a specific focus on applications in new energy vehicles, semiconductor lighting, and power electronics.
