Measures introduced to encourage enterprises in Nansha

Nansha introduces various measures to encourage industrial enterprises.

In order to support enterprises to retain workers, industrial enterprises with a total output value of more than 100 million yuan ($1.39 billion) and a year-on-year growth rate of more than 12 percent in the first quarter of 2024 shall offer 150 yuan per worker per day.

In order to stabilize production, employees hired in 2024 will receive a subsidy of 1,000 yuan per person if they are employed for more than one month before March 31 and 1,500 yuan if they are employed for more than 2 months.

Industrial enterprises with an output value of more than 100 million yuan in the first quarter of 2024 and a year-on-year increase of more than 12 percent will receive a one-time basic subsidy of 200,000 yuan.

To encourage enterprises to expand investment, industrial investment projects launched in 2024 will be awarded sometime before the end of the year, depending on various factors.

To encourage enterprises to develop and grow, companies in the wholesale industry, retail industry, and accommodation and catering industry in Nansha will be rewarded based on their business performance in the first quarter of 2024.

To encourage enterprises to upgrade and improve, projects with an annual turnover more than 1 million yuan will be given up to 1 million yuan in subsidies. Restaurants will be given up to 30 percent of the actual investment in the project and a maximum subsidy of 2 million yuan.

In addition, Nansha is encouraging the expansion of the profit-making service industry.

Internet, software and information technology service companies which have a total operating income of more than 20 million yuan or a year-on-year increase of more than 25 percent in the first quarter of 2024 (January to February) will receive a maximum of 100,000 yuan per company.

Companies in the leasing and business service industry, scientific research industry or technical service industry will be awarded 10,000 yuan for each increase of 2 million yuan in operating income.

Companies engaged in the cultural, sports and entertainment industry, resident services industry, repair industry, or other service industry will be awarded 10,000 yuan per 2 million yuan increase in operating income, with a maximum award of 100,000 yuan.

In order to encourage consumer-oriented activities and boost cultural tourism, travel agencies who organize travel teams (20 people and above) to travel to the district will receive 40 yuan per person.

The district is also increasing support for export credit insurance. Enterprises that have received funding for export credit insurance in 2024 and insured "short-term export credit insurance" will be funded.
