Guangzhou recently announced over 2,500 cultural and tourism activities across six major sections, including the long-awaited return of Spring Festival's grand fireworks display after a 12-year hiatus.
The grand fireworks display will take place at the White Goose Pool on Feb 10, the first day of the Chinese Lunar New Year. It is expected to be a 45-minute fireworks display of international standards.
On Feb 24, the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, also the day of the Lantern Festival, Nansha will host a distinctive sea fireworks display and drone performance by Pearl Bay! That evening, a cruise journey, allowing tourists to enjoy the fireworks on the sea, will also be held.
The route is set to pass through the Humen Bridge and the Hengdang Island, offering a close-up view of Nansha's fireworks show and immersing tourists in the district's romantic coastal cultural and tourism activities.
