The inaugural meeting for the Board of Directors of the Nansha Information Technology Park Industrial College and the National Low-Altitude Internet of Intelligences (IoI) and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Industry Integration Community was held at the Nansha Information Technology Park on Jan 12.

Over 200 representatives from national vocational colleges, research institutes, industry organizations, and enterprises attended the conference.

With the innovative application of unmanned aerial vehicle systems in low-altitude manned transportation, low-altitude logistics, agriculture and forestry protection, aerial express delivery, power line inspection, and emergency rescue, the community aims to integrate industry resources further, deepen the construction of modern vocational education systems, and jointly promote talent development.

The Nansha Information Technology Park has established deep cooperation with the Guangzhou Technology and Trade Vocational College, offering UAVs and intelligent connected vehicle industries programs, with 400 students in the park.

Furthermore, the park has established the DJI Education Future Science and Technology Innovation Base, mainly engaged in training unmanned aerial vehicles and artificial intelligence (AI). In the field of unmanned systems, the park plans to focus on introducing scientific and technological innovation projects related to unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned boats while also positioning itself in the field of vocational education for low-altitude flight.

The park is preparing to establish a drone association to integrate relevant enterprises in Nansha district, promoting the development of low-altitude flight and the unmanned aerial vehicle industry.
