Construction on Nansha's new hospital of stomatology makes headway

The Hospital of Stomatology, Sun Yat-sen University (Nansha) recently completed the connection of the air corridor between its new outpatient building and scientific research building, local media outlets reported on Jan 15.

The air corridor will make passage between the two buildings more convenient.

The hospital is located on the west blank of Hengli Island in Nansha's Peral Bay Starting Area. It is designed to be a 3A-grade dental hospital in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The hospital is built with an L-shaped layout and has three main functional blocks, a medical area, scientific teaching, research, administrative office area, as well as a life service area.

The floor space of the hospital is about 100,000 square meters. It will include an outpatient building, an inpatient building, a scientific research building, a dormitory building, an underground garage and other related support facilities.
