Lingshan Island public service project reaches key milestone

As part of the public service project located at the tip of Lingshan Island, a 7,530-square-meter public kindergarten has topped off its main structure, local media outlets reported on Dec 12.

The kindergarten consists of one building with three above-ground floors and a partial underground floor. It is equipped with various functional areas, including a multipurpose activity room, interest classes, music and sports rooms, a laundry room, and a medical room. This kindergarten will facilitate 18 kindergarten classes and 2 daycare classes once operational.

Currently, the main structure of the kindergarten is undergoing interior decoration, as well as electrical and mechanical installation. Efforts will be made to complete the electrical and mechanical installation work by May next year.

Additionally, the public service project at the tip of Lingshan Island will also include a municipal park, which will have a green area of about 3,092 sq m.
