The CAS Space Industrial Base held a send-off ceremony for the Long March 1 (LZ-1) Y3 carrier rocket at its aerospace industrial base in Dagang town, Nansha district on Dec 11.

As one of the first batches of rockets produced in Nansha, the LZ-1 Y3 carrier rocket has completed all pre-delivery work according to the required procedures.

Through comprehensive testing, the product's functions and performance indicators have met the requirements for the flight mission.

It has passed the pre-delivery review and is scheduled to execute a "one rocket, five satellites" launch mission at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in January 2024.

The aerospace industrial base is an internationally top-tier production base for a series of carrier rockets. It is mainly used for the production, testing, assembly, and testing of solid and liquid carrier rockets.

The base has the capability to produce 30 carrier rockets annually, as well as electronic equipment manufacturing and assembly capabilities, and the production capacity to handle rocket structural compartments and tanks.
