Located in Wanqingsha town, Nansha district, the Shisichong Aquatic Product Center and the Shijiuchong Fisherman Wharf are famous for their fresh seafood, local media outlets reported on Sept 10.

Blue crab is widely regarded as one of the most coveted seafood delicacies in the district. It is distinguished by its vibrant green color and rich flavor. Once cooked, this succulent crab is characterized by its sweet and briny taste.

Another popular crab variety in Nansha is the butter crab, which is a natural variant of blue crab. For every 1,000 blue crabs, there are only two or three butter crabs. Due to their exceptional rarity, they are also known as the "Maotai among crabs".

As the name suggests, this crab is prized for its creamy and buttery texture. Its sweet taste and rich crab butter make for an unforgettable dining experience.
