Exciting events, discounts feature at Nansha book fair

The 2023 Guangzhou Book Fair, with the theme of "public cultural reception hall," will run until Aug 22. It aims to create a cultural gathering place, where people can immerse themselves in a sea of books right on their doorstep.

It has invited cultural celebrities and industry participants to gather in Guangzhou, showcasing a series of innovative and interactive activities that combine communications and influence.

Located in the basement of the Nansha Library, the Guangzhou Book Center serves as the only branch venue in the Nansha district. During the book fair, the center is hosting a range of promotional activities.

For instance, customers can enjoy a 20 percent discount on all books and audiovisual products (except for discounted items), with selected books starting at a 50 percent discount and selected cultural and creative merchandise attracting 30 percent-plus discounts.

Furthermore, there are various interactive activities available, such as a lecture on the historical origins and a hands-on experience of cloisonne work on Aug 21, one of typical Chinese art forms, and also a portrait sketching experience on Aug 22.
