The orchards of Nansha's Lanhe town include specialty fruits such as ice cream fruit, Jaboticaba and Jinzuan pineapple, which have ripened and are ready to hit the market, local media outlets reported on July 10.

Of the town's specialty fruit, ice cream fruit is unique. It resembles a green apple on the outside, but looks like a scoop of ice cream once peeled. Once frozen, the fruit has a more solid texture and its sweetness is also reduced, making it extremely palatable to a wide range of people. Eating this fruit is like enjoying ice cream, but even better, as it is eco-friendly.

In addition, the town actively cultivates fruit seedlings, hoping to involve more villagers in larger-scale cultivation. This will establish a new agricultural brand for the town.

Leveraging its unique agricultural resources, the town has attracted leading provincial-level agricultural enterprises to make investments. Plans are for the town to construct specialty agriculture industrial bases.

Aiming to deepen and expand the "one village, one product, one town, and one industry" concept, the village will promote the "enterprise + cooperative + farmers" work model, which will drive up the district's agricultural industry.
